Senior Airman Kristopher Mansfield survived a tour of duty in Iraq but weeks after his return in 2004 he was unable to survive the terror of a drunk driver on our streets at home. In remembrance of time spent with his son in Frisco, CO, Craig Mansfield established the “Peak One Award” that has been given annually to airmen who demonstrate three qualities exemplified by his son:

Leadership

Professionalism, sportsmanship and the ability to lead by example.

Community involvement, care and consideration for coworkers, friends and family.
